This time I read 33 pages.It is talk about Lang Lang was waiting the result of trethe convervatory exams.  Lang Lang's Uncle rush to tell Lang Lang he was the number one of the convervatory. so he can get into the covervatory afther this test. After eighteen months Lang Lang was saw a smile break out on his father's face. Lang Lang feel very happy too. Then Lang Lang make a phone call to his monther tell his monther this good news. Lang Lang was very happy he would be allow to return to Shengyang and see his mother and other relative and friends. Lang Lang's afther change his mind he tell Lang Lang. They can only return 20 days because there is a national piano competition coming soon. although it is a little bit short than before he afther say, Lang Lang still feel happy. when he return home he saw his mother and hang out with his friends and relative. 20 days is fast, afther 20 days Lang Lang return to Beijing to prepare the competition. The same as before,everyday 8 hours practice. He knows his need to pay more attention to this competition because this competition is a national piano competition.


Reaction: After I read "Lang Lang Play with Flying Keys" Finally, Lang Lang win the chance to come home to see his mother. He must miss his mother very musch. Retun home is good he also can hang out with his friends.  I think Lang Lang was a hard work because he practice 8 hours piano everyday. sometimes even more than 8 hours one day. That is amazing, not many people can sit there too practice 8 hours piano a day.Even our go to school, if one I have 6 hours classes. I feel tire. Imagine if I need to do the same thing again and again. I might become crazy.Congratulantion, Lang Lang can get into the covervatory which is good for his futher.

Summer:Lang Lang playing with flying keys is a book written by Michael French Which is talk about a Chinese piano player. This time I read 28 pages.It is talk about Professor Zhu was back from Us and obviously had learned of Lang Lang difficulties in Beijing. Lang Lang was very happy to see Professor Zhu. Her encourage Lang Lang to practice piano and  help Lang Lang to find anther teacher in Bejing. Lang Lang new teacher name is Professor Zhao.Professor Zhao is a good man and teacher.He never yelled to Lang Lang.He tell Lang Lang not too anxious when his play,let the music come to you.After a few monthes lessons Lang Lang missed his mother. He ask his father why his mother not come to Beijing to see him.His father said, you mother can't afford to miss work. A few days later,  Lang Lang was make a deal with his father if he can accepted into the conservatory, he would be allowed to return home at least a monther in Shengyang. Lang Lang 's father agree with him but he still need to practice piano at home.The convervatory exams were coming. Lang Lang feel very nervous the day before the exam. He ask his father put his arm around him because he couldn't sleep well. There are two main part in the exam,one is play the piano, the other is written exam.Afther one day test, Lang Lang feel a litte tired but he think he do well druing the exam.The reult will come out next day. Only thing they can do is wait the result come out.


Reaction: After I read "Lang Lang Play with Flying Keys" I think Professor Zhu is good teacher which is help Lang Lang when he need. Her help Lang Lang find a teacher when Professor Angry didn't want to teacher Lang Lang any more and encourage Lang Lang to strar to practice piano again. I think Lang Lang need to thanks Professor Zhu when he become successful today. It is really hard to find a teacher like Professor Zhu. Her never get tired when her help Lang Lang. I think Lang Lang need to thanks Professor Zhu when he become sucessful. Lang Lang want to get into coservatory and he need to take test. Hopefully
he do well in the exam and he can get into the coservatory and come back to Shengyang to see his mother.

It is talk about professor Angry decide no longer teach Lang Lang. Lang Lang and his father were both devastated. His father think Lang Lang not work hard enought so professor Angry didn't want to teach Lang Lang any more, but Lang Lang think is not his fault. He try very hard and do his best. Professer Angry just don't like him. He and his father quarrel this with each other. Lang Lang is very sad he didn't want play piano any more. Lang Lang's father disappointing of Lang Lang. Lang Lang decide not talk with his father, never practice the piano,and never even look at his father. He hate his father didn't trust he. Everyday he just go to school and hang out with his classmates, after that day Lang Lang didn't practic piano any more becasue he didn't want his father happy. One day Lang Lang meet Han. Han is a fruit vendor. They talk a lot, Han told Lang Lang, his father quarrel with him because he love him, he want you become better. Han quickly become a menber of Lang Lang family. Lang Lang began to call him"uncle number two", but Lang Lang still didn't want to play piano. One month later Lang Lang missed the piano when he alone in the apartment his paly piano by himeself. He didn't want his father know. A week later, Lang Lang after school come back home he heard a familiar voice as he approached the door. He listened again, disbelieving. It can't be, his thought as his hear accelerated and his threw open the door.

Reaction: After I read "Lang Lang Play with Flying Keys" I think that might be a terrible time for Lang Lang whole family because the professor Angry didn't want to teach Lang Lang any more . Lang Lang was very confidence with his talen and have confidence to do well in this area, but this time thw teacher destory all his confidence. He need to pick up all his confidence and do more practice instead of quarrel with his father and not practic piano. I think this might be a good idea to slove this problem. It is not good to quarrel with parents specially they are trying to do somethings to push you to successful. However, Lang Lang's father also have some problem. althought he is try to do something good for Lang Lang, but he can change anther way to teach Lang Lang or help hime in anther way. That might be musch better.

It talk about new teacher Mrs Feng is very warm and personable. Feng tell Lang Lang he should let everyone in class know what he think ,feel and anwser the question braverly. Don't be afraid. Mrs Feng let Lang Lang enjoy the class and have a good time at school. After a few days Lang Lang' father said, Lang Lang I think you ready for your next competition. This time competition was to be held in Taiyuan, the capital of shanxi province. The competition was national. Lang Lang will be competing with students from all over the China. In the competition Lang Lang played perfectly, but he didn't get the number one, not even number two, or three, or four. He got seventh place. Lang Lang was very sad. He feel that was not fair. After Lang Lang turned eight. Professor Zhu talk to Lang Lang's father think Lang Lang should go to Beijing found another better teacher to teach Lang Lang. Intead of just stay at Shenyang. After the conversation Lang Lang's father agree with professor Zhu opinion decide to move to Beijing. Lang Lang didn't want to leave Shenyang, but he have to. When they arrive to Beijing. His father found another teacher to teach Lang Lang,but the teacher wasn't like very friendly. She didn't like Lang Lang. She think Lang Lang isn't good enough as her student. After a few time classes. She decide not to teach Lang Lang any more. Lang Lang' fater is very sad, but he didn't say a word. Lang Lang was crying  in the street. They are both devastated.

Reaction: After I read "Lang Lang play with Flying Keys" I think new teacher Mrs Feng is very good teacher. She have good personality and help Lang Lang to enjoy the classes.She told Lang Lang let the calssmates know what he think and what he feel. That is good for Lang Lang.  Let he have a good time in school. The competition Lang Lang just get seventh place. I think sometimes it happen beacuse the judges have different taste of music or maybe some children older than he, so they play more time and have more practice.Lang Lang new teacher is not friendly. She doesn't like Lang Lang very much. I think even though she doesn't like Lang Lang she still should be friendly to Lang Lang. Lang Lang just a child.

The first 32pages talk about Lang Lang is born in Shengyang China in 1982.He has large hands and long fingers when he was born.He father is also a music player who is good at play erhu. Lang Lang like to watch cartoon, but his fater is very strict to him. Everyday he need to spend a lot of on the piano.He father taught he to paly piano when he was two years old.  when he was four years old his father find a professional teacher to teach he piano. The teacher name is Zhu Yafen. Professor Zhu is different from his father. She is always have simile on her face.Lang Lang won his fist competition when Lang Lang was five year old. He wins his first competition in Shengyang. After the competition his father didn't celebrate. He only said"congratulations" then told Lang Lang to practice piano.Lang Lang didn't happy at school,because teacher didn't understand him, but after new teacher Mrs Feng came into Lang Lang life. Everything is change,new teacher Mrs Feng is warm and personable.

Reaction: Lang Lang is a qiute talent piano player and he is a hard worker. He can become succeful not only of his talent but also because of his hard work. I think his father is too strick to him,even don't give him a rest after he won the competition.Lang Lang was only a child,but need to paly so many hours piano a day. Hopefully Lang Lang met a professional teacher. That let he become easy on the piano. After a read this book I also know become a professional piano palyer is very difficult. It is a great book . The author has done a good job convincing me. That is very interesting.
